I love helping small businesses succeed. The vast majority of my clients over the past 8 years have been small businesses with small budgets, and it’s a fantastic feeling when you can help a business achieve success on a platform (social media) where they may not spend a lot of their time or energy.
My goals are pretty tightly related to my clients’ goals – when they’re happy, I’m happy! But ultimately, I would like to maintain my business in small town Nova Scotia, be able to continue to grow my knowledge of online and traditional marketing, and add more valuable services for my clients.
I’m a nerd when it comes to analytics and figuring out why people do what they do. I also personally participate in social media, and am always looking for fun new ways to be part of the online world!
Having worked with 2 large festivals for the past 8 years, I have an idea of how challenging selling a seasonal service or product can be, especially when we aren’t sure what next year’s season will look like. I can help businesses plan for both the worst and the best case scenarios at the same time, while keeping their messaging and target audience in mind.
